We have a 12 month Fixed Term opportunity for an Adviser Approvals Enquiries to join the Approvals Operations team in Wellington.
The Operations team includes members whose key responsibilities are the processing and assessment of applications under the ACVM Act, Animal Products Act, the Wine Act, and the Food Act.
The Adviser Approvals Enquiries position is the main contact for the Approvals Operations team to manage and respond to customer phone, and email enquiries. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, exceptional customer and organising skills to provide timely and accurate food safety advice. You will also liaise with the MPI consumer help desk and MPI Customer service enquiries to resolve any complaints or queries that come through.
You will have great attention to detail to drive and coordinate an administrative – para technical process. There is complexity and challenge, so you will need to be adaptable and innovative to thrive in this environment. Training within the Approvals Operations team will be given before you are required to manage the enquiries.
To succeed in this position, you will need to demonstrate:
- Strong interpersonal & customer skills
- Open friendly manner and team player
- Exceptional verbal & written communication skills
- Good computer aptitude
- Degree in Science or Food technology desirable
You will be a strategic thinker with an innate ability to get to the heart of an issue quickly and provide effective communications advice. You will also be a person who is able to build credibility and trust with both internal and external customers.
